vulnerability feels like falling
thank you, i love you
i almost cried last night while uploading on the subway. it’s been a while since photos have moved me to tears, and i know i’m not the only one. we’re all desensitized to the great visual flood in this metamodern epoch of ours. i don’t know what it was about these girls - they had such pure energy. i had once again forgotten the incredible potential of photography to hold something so earnestly and move someone so delicately. it was as if it was the first photo i ever saw… vulnerability feels like falling. that was childhood, wasn’t it? falling: reckless and graceful and wild. thank you to those who trust me behind the camera. you mean everything to me. this is my love letter to you, this is my way in the world.
